It's the final week for many of our students and as more and more of the work gets completed then more and more of them are needing something to put their work on. Yes, we are talking plinths. It's been an interesting week with several of the Textiles third years with us, requiring some large and diverse forms. We are certainly looking forward to seeing the work interacting with these structures. Below are some images taken from the past few days
Not just a simple circular plinth…...
…..it's got interlocking shelves as well.
Hannah puts together her structures that will become her display units.
Estee squeezes in and gets sanding the top of her plinth.
This open sided display table being marked up ready for the internal legs.
More Flexi Ply required for this kidney shaped structure.
Hannah sands her MDF display boxes.
and also a smaller one on top.
Finally a simple plinth that we had done in 30 minutes!
Jack from Graphics year three, is seen here making his own phone holsters that will be suspense form the ceiling for his interactive show.
