The Valley in the Clouds

Students from BA ISD Platforms 8&10, have been working steadily towards this impressive build. Run by Luke Walker and Joy Flanagan, The Valley in the Clouds was an Ecobuild using 400 recycled copies of the Daily Mail and a supply of timber from Arnold Laver. Several of the students have worked with us in the Wood workshop for many months and the last few weeks have seen a flurry of activity as the final preparation for the build took place. Below are some images of the wooden structure being fabricated. Congratulations to all those involved.

Fore!!

And so, last Friday afternoon, with a few more tweaks and alterations with us in the Wood workshop, the Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground, http://www.arts.ac.uk/about/departments/rootstein-hopkins/, played host to the inaugural BA Graphics, Crazy Golf Championship. As well as students and staff of the college, many members of the public passing by were able to put their Golfing skills to the test. Well done you guys. What a really fantastic project!
