Our Sizzling Summer

Well its certainly been a hot July and the temperatures have been high in the Wood Workshop here at Chelsea as the several of the MA students feverishly build their work. There are not many weeks to go now until the work has to be completed so its all go. Below are a few images taken form the past 2 weeks.

Chrissie puts the finishing touches to her newly made legs.
Fine Art student Alice gets to grips with her Fret Sawed structure.
Some model making action in Small Works
Alex fixes the wings for his By-plane
Fang Li seems very pleased with his model for his MA ISD  show coming up.
Some very lovely details. Now we just need to build the plinth. ( see below )
A display box ready to house 16 framed textile pieces
Almost ready for it's maiden flight!
Now that is one rather bespoke plinth for Fang Li's model.
Cheryl getting ready for some sanding action on her structure.

Van from MA ISD builds the walls that will create a structure within the Morgue here at the college

Tanja constructs her frames behind a rather deconstructed chair.
