Little Woodshop of Horrors

Happy Halloween to you all! Nothing particularly scary in the Wood Workshop in the past few days. Just a steady flow of students making their work. This week has seen the beginning of the 1st Year Graphics project that will run with us over the next few Mondays and Fridays where they each set out to make a letter from a particular type face, as beautifully as they can. Some images of the first group with us can be seen below along with examples of other students work.

The first group from Graphics set about projecting and marking their letters onto the board prior to cutting.
Some careful Bobbin sanding.

The gang nearing the finish with some filing and hand sanding.
Song, a student from MA Fine Art, sets about cutting some Oak to create a moving arm

MA Fine Art student Kim, fixing one of her legs to her sloping table.

Aier, Celia and Amy form FDA Interior Design have created this straw wall which glows when light is placed behind.

This group form BA Interior Design, are busy making interactive boxes for their garden project.
