Materials and Process

The other evening Stef invited the students from the 1 year Interior Design Graduate Diploma, to join him for a session of model making. They looked at working with various types of wood and plastic in many abstract ways for the purpose of creating Architectural Model details.

Much of the evening was spent showing how various materials can be manipulated  with often dramatic effects
Architectural model scale was an important topic with a close look at how many materials can be used with great effect to produce lovely textures and finishes.

  1. Hello! Really cool and "real" process pictures, it is something beautiful about the raw process in model making, not edited and styled, just true process!

I want to ask you, I am a part of an architecture student union organization in Sweden, and I am arranging a model making workshop for students (I am myself also a student). For this, I am printing out brief booklets with a few inspirational pictures etc.
Would it be possible to get permission to use 1 or 2 of your process pictures from this post?
It is for architecture students, not school-bound (extra curricular workshop), purely non-profit and it will not become public in any way (the booklets are for the closed company of people partaking in the workshop).
You will be properly referenced to as well. If you do not want to give us permission, we will of course not use them!

    Best wishes,
    Johan
