The space.

Make up space
Here in the wood workshop we offer various areas in which to fabricate the work. This first image is taken from inside the main making space dominated by the hugh worktables. Medium to large scale work gets made in this area. Students also have the option to book an open floor space ( to the right of this image ) for the fabrication of work to big to fit on the tables.

The large worktables

Small Works
In this area of the workshop, Small Works, the name gives it away. We encourage just small scale pieces to be made utilizing the more delicate machinery available. We work closely with plastics here as well, undertaking a whole range of processes and materials within the plastics family.
The Cutting Room
We have a dedicated area for undertaking large scale cutting of stock. Full sheets of material such as M.D.F and Plywood or long lengths of timber are sized for our students to then begin their work.
The Machine Shop
The area of our workshop that houses a majority of the machinery available for student use. After individual induction students will be able to come and use certain machines when they are required
