Another private view!

Last night was Tuesday evening so it could only mean one thing. Another BA Fine Art private view. So Stef and Phil decided to take a night off the training for the London to Paris ride, see previous post, and went along to join in the fun. Once again it proved to be a really well attended event with lots of diverse work on show, this time from the 1st years. well done to all.

London to Paris

So just to announce that Stef and Phil from the Wood Workshop are to ride from London to Paris next summer. 320 miles in total and all for charity. Stef has been in full training already and is chomping at the bit to get going. Phil finally summoned up the energy to get to the photo shoot for the below image and then put his bike away for another week! The boys plan to do plenty of training together and to work even harder in the Workshop to get into shape.

Almost there

So this past week has seen the Wood Workshop bustling with energy as students squeeze as much out of us as they can as we head towards the final week of term. With a steady flow of students from Fine art and graphics the big hitter has been Interior Design with many of them due to complete work in the next few days. Below are some images taken form the last few days

10000 and counting

Just wanted to say how pleased we are to have seen that this afternoon our little old blog reached a grand figure of 10000 hits. Unfortunately there is no prize for the 10000th visitor only to say a big thank you to all those who have visited, stumbled upon and continue to follow us and the students working away here in the Chelsea College Wood Workshop.

We love a private view

So yesterday evening Phil and Stef went along to rub shoulders with the crowd gathered at the second of the two BA Fine Art 3rd year shows, in the Triangle Gallery here at Chelsea. Staff and students alike joined in to enjoy the diverse and interesting work on display which encompasses many disciplines of Art. Many of the students have spent time with us down in the Wood Workshop here at Chelsea making their work. Below are some images taken from last nights show along with images taken today away from the crowds.
